Genevieve and Leo Making Tortelli

Leo, a chef at Cascina Lago Scuro, where our residency was hosted, held a demonstration for pasta making, where hundreds of tortelli were made. At the end of the demonstration they took the extra tortelli stuffing, which was the best béchamel I have ever had in my life, and made us all pizzas topped with it later that evening! The béchamel was made from four different types of cheeses, all of which were produced on the farm!

Handmade and pressed in our Midwest Studio in pearlescent yellow acrylic. Each is adorned with a handmade lampwork glass pomodoro (tomato) and dangles from gold-plated surgical steel fish hooks. Each measures at a 2 in. drop length.

Each wearable sculpture can be cleaned with a microfiber cloth (eyeglasses cloths work great for acrylic pieces!) All brass pieces will come with a special cleaning cloth.

*Also, if possible, keep out of humid areas like the bathroom, and definitely remove before showering or swimming.*
